Setting Up
To set up and operate the ride requires a clear, unobstructed,
reasonably level space of a minimum of 38ft diameter.
We can set up on grass lawns using techniques that will
cause virtually no disturbance and leave hardly a trace
of our presence once we've packed up and gone.
The carousel is entirely self-sufficient and requires
no external power supply. You can therefore site the
ride in your preferred location regardless of how close
utilities are.
Health & Safety
The safety of you and your guests is our paramount
concern at all times. Woodfords of Oxford operate rigorous
safety procedures and have years of experience in the
safe operation of all their rides.
The operator has the final say in the safe running
of the ride at all time and can refuse access to the
ride for any reason that would compromise the safety
of passengers or staff.
Insurance
We are fully insured to cover all eventualities including
public liability of up to £10 million. Copies of insurance
certificates are available on request.
Environmental Policy
Woodfords of Oxford are strongly committed to protecting
the environment. The generator powering the ride is
the super-silent Cummings C55, one of the most energy
efficient on the market and which meets all current
EU regulations regarding air, environmental and noise
pollution.
Our modern equipment and operating techniques ensure
the minimum of disruption to your site. We operate a
guaranteed clear up policy after the ride is dismantled.
Location
Woodfords of Oxford are based just to the West of Oxford
in the Vale of the White Horse. We are happy to travel
anywhere in the UK or Ireland for an event or even further
afield for a very special occasion. We charge a small
mileage rate to cover our travel costs.
Our People
All our staff are experienced, professional, fully insured
and police checked. We also make sure that all our staff
are courteous, smartly attired and willing to help at
all times.
The Showman's Guild
Woodfords of Oxford are longstanding members of the
Showman's Guild of Great Britain which regulate and
monitor standards within our industry.
Our Rates
Our rates vary according to the duration of the booking
and the ease of access to the site. We are happy to
visit your site or to talk through your project on the
phone and give you a quotation.
